Submit Your Project for the 2025 Golden Trowel Awards

The United Masonry Contractors Association is now accepting entries for the 2025 Golden Trowel Awards. These awards celebrate exceptional masonry projects that reflect the creativity of architects and the craftsmanship of mason contractors throughout Texas.

All entries must be submitted using the official form provided by the Texas Masonry Council.  Please go to the Golden Trowel Rules and Entry information page to enter, as well as review the updated rules and entry guidelines below before submitting your project.

Information about Golden Trowel Awards 

The United Masonry Contractors Association hosts the Golden Trowel Awards Banquet annually. Quality masonry projects in Texas are the result of strong creative visions by architects and quality execution by mason contractors. The purpose of the Golden Trowel Awards are to recognize the outstanding design of Architects and the skilled craftsmanship of the Mason Contractors, while celebrating the legacy of their partnership. Each year the UMCA celebrates architects, mason contractors, project leadership, general contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers with Golden Trowel Awards to honor their important role in implementing a successful project. 

Now more than ever it is critical for the masonry industry to maintain and create new partnerships within the design and construction industries. Not only does the Golden Trowel Award celebrate the architects and contractors that our members work with on a daily basis, but UMCA also recognizes the critical role that state and local officials, and the communities play in developing quality, lasting masonry construction.  Check out  7 Reasons to submit a project if you need more convincing!
